Get to know me
As a dedicated and transdisciplinary researcher in social sciences, who earned his PhD from TU Delft in the Netherlands, I demonstrate the diverse paths one can take in academia. I completed my PhD within four years with almost ten publications, and successfully secured a postdoctoral position shortly after graduation, complemented by a research funding a year later.
My experience highlights the importance of perseverance and adaptability in the academic landscape, showcasing the opportunities that arise from solid research production and networking during a doctoral journey.
Mission
I began offering these services after personally witnessing the intense competitiveness of academia and the persistent lack of support for PhD candidates. Many colleagues and friends could not meet the deadlines of their program. Thus, it became clear to me that allowing PhDs to navigate their journeys alone has become a troubling norm in the field.
Having faced these hurdles myself, I understand how overwhelming and discouraging they can be. My mission is to assure those who follow in my footsteps that they are not alone in their struggles. By reaching out for help and utilizing available resources, they can conquer these challenges and thrive in their academic pursuits. I am here to provide the guidance and support that I wish I had during my own journey.
Vision
Embarking on the journey to obtain your PhD can often feel overwhelming, filled with anxiety about the future. However, this experience need not be a source of stress. The emphasis placed by many universities on securing grants, producing scientific outputs, and teaching can inadvertently deprive supervisory team members of the time needed to provide adequate support to their PhD candidates.
I believe in the importance of mentorship and the holistic development of young academics. By dedicating time to guiding PhDs, I want to alleviate some of the pressures associated with the PhD process, ultimately leading to a more fulfilling and productive academic journey.
